We present the third in our series of innovative Baltic bass music, LOW003.
MOOG 6 by LEFT I RIGHT
Left I Right are a boy-girl electronic duo with a huge amount of instrumental performance knowledge and experience. Their innovative arrangements and subtle use of beautifully lazy trip-hop vocals come together with an upfront bassline, creating an atmosphere that should give Massive Attack pause for thought. Never letting experimentalism” or “jazz” get in the way of a foot-tapping, memorable construction, Left I Right are a Baltic discovery that we can’t wait to release.
WAR MACHINE by DEATHWISH
Another track that was sent to us as the first demo from a completely new producer, we couldn’t believe the quality and power of the production, combined with a totally fresh attitude to LFO dubstep. The drop is preceded by a sample of someone being sick, and this is entirely appropriate. The fat kicks and snares smack you in the face while the twisted and constantly shifting bass synths rearrange your stomach. A truly unique sound that brings another dimension to the Lowvibe collection of Baltic leftfield missiles.
NOT MY STYLE by PAPUGA
Papuga is a young producer from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. His preference for full-frequency dancefloor drumnbass has been completely forgotten for this, his deep Lowvibe experiment. A moody Londonish garage roller, with ghostly keyboards, swung hi-hats, under-the-radar subs and gangster rimshots, this is the perfect soundtrack to a late-night mission around the suburbs. We hope Papuga (meaning parrot) will venture outside his comfort-zone more often, because he’s obviously not afraid of
the dark.
